Jeff Salgado sold my property in the Portola district of San Francisco. My property reached the "sale pending" stage in 12 days and sold substantially over the listing price. It was a trust sale which added complexities.
After interviewing several real estate agents, I decided to hire Jeff. Jeff is unique in that he focuses mainly on selling homes instead of catering to potential buyers. Jeff said he works with home sellers 98% of his time. Base on my experience, Jeff definitely has a system for selling properties. He has a set of processes to market, to show properties, and to negotiate offers. I believe his consistent approach maximized the number of potential buyers who viewed my property, the high attendance at the open house events, and eventually the sale.
Unlike other realtors who relies on posting photos on 3rd party websites like Zillow and Redfin, Jeff also maintains his own website to showcase his exclusive listings and sold portfolio. The marketing collaterals for my property included photos, property specific marketing video, aerial drone footages, interior 360 video tour, and square footage accurate floorplans. The other real estate agents I interviewed offered only photos and floorplans as their primary marketing tools.
What is it like to work with Jeff? Jeff has sharp eyes and zooms in on the details. He is very familiar with the issues of the older homes in San Francisco. With a large portfolio of sold properties, Jeff is highly knowledgeable of the market and the potential buyers in my price range. Jeff is professional and communicates often. Jeff also provides his advice on interior updates and even remodeling to get the highest return. Since I completely refreshed the exterior and interior of the house, I did not use Jeff’s advice. I did use the staging service which maximized the appeal of the property. Staging was definitely worth the high cost.

We engaged Jeff Salgado to help us sell our parents’ home in November 2025. We chose Jeff because he demonstrated deep market knowledge, extensive marketing, and sales experience, but most of all, a proactive highly communicative approach and style. Jeff provided a comprehensive presentation of all relevant market comparables to help us understand the current value of the house, walked us through the entire sales strategy and process, and provided valuable advice in terms of the repairs and upgrades needed to showcase the house in the best light for the least expense.
He arranged for professionals to assist us in some of the repair work, staging, inspections and the title and escrow work. All these individuals performed their duties with proficiency and an appropriate sense of urgency. Just prior to listing the property, Jeff once again reviewed current comparables to help set the asking price.
Our house was listed for 10 days. We received 18 offers, most of which were over asking. We were thrilled with the outcome, and the sale closed 2 weeks later. Jeff did a thorough job walking us through all the offers, the disclosures, and other legal documents, and made the process smooth and easy for us.
Another point worth noting is that our family is comprised of 6 individuals, all of whom had concerns along the way – ranging from what repairs should be made, what the asking price should be, staging details, and most importantly, if and how to negotiate the final price. Jeff was very respectful of our various concerns, addressed them patiently and helped us make the best decisions for our family.

We have just closed escrow on my sister's rambling property in Bernal Heights. For health reasons she had decided to sell up and move back home to England after 30 years on that hill, so the need to realise her biggest financial asset was acute. Jeff Salgado came with strong local recommendations and I have to say that we were impressed by his knowledge and depth of experience right from the get-go. As a guide he was warm, professional and transparent and we felt complete trust in his decision-making, knowing that he had our best interests at heart and would achieve the best outcome possible for us. Although we moved countries straight after signing with Jeff which meant that negotiations had to be carried out from 5,000 miles away and in a time-zone that swapped day for night, he kept us fully informed of every detail and at every step of the way. We worked with Jeff Salgado to sell our SF home in February 2026 and it's tough to overstate just how good a real estate agent he is. Nobody knows the SF market better and Jeff carefully walked us through his strategy for pricing and the steps for getting our house ready. One of the many things I respect about Jeff is that he will tell you what he thinks the best plan is, show you data to support this plan, and then let you make up your own mind. He was very realistic in his assessment of our property and what he thought we could get for the house, properly calibrating our expectations. We followed every piece of advice he gave us, including using his recommended contractors, which were competitively priced, and the result was that we sold our house for 40%+ over asking price in under 3 weeks. Jeff was communicative, he was responsive, he was honest - I truly cannot imagine anyone doing a better job than he did and I highly recommend employing his services if you are selling a house in the San Francisco area.
